Library Services during the COVID-19 Pandemic: Books by Mail

Checking-Out

Students and faculty can check out library books, CDs, and DVDs, and will be mailed to them, free of charge, or items can be picked up from the Phillips building foyer.
The box to the right provides instructions on how to request* items in the catalog. In the comments field please provide your mailing address.
*You must be logged in to request items. Log into your SSO account and click on Primo (the library catalog).

Not available for mailing:
  • Reserves items
  • Materials in fragile condition
  • Items in the Rare Book Room
  • Reference materials

Returning

If you are local and need to return your books, please contact the library at ptslibrary@ptstulsa.edu for additional details and to coordinate a drop-off time.

Requesting Items

Found a book in the catalog that you want, but aren't able to come to campus today, live out of town, or the item is checked out? Once logged in to the catalog, you can place requests for items you'd like.

Just click the title in the search results to open the book's catalog record. Under GET IT click REQUEST.
Fill in the Not Needed After Pickup Date. If you'd like the book mailed to you, add your address to the Comment section.

We'll receive a notification that you've placed a request for an item. If it's on the shelf we'll pull it and either place it on the holdshelf for you or check it out to you and drop it in the mail. If the item is checked out, once it is returned you'll receive a notification that it is ready for pickup.
