Phillips Seminary is deeply invested in the success of all students as they progress through their degree programs, and it recognizes that sometimes students need assistance developing good academic writing skills, and effective reading and study habits.
One of the ways the seminary provides support is to offer writing tutoring to students. The tutors used by the seminary are all either graduates of Phillips, or are currently enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry program.
The seminary will cover costs for up to four hours of writing tutoring per semester ($25/hour). If more sessions are needed, the student is responsible for costs of those beyond the four covered by the seminary.
Students are free to seek writing coaching on their own, or alternatively, an instructor may suggest that a student seek tutoring on an assignment.
If you are interested in working with a tutor, contact Katherine Casey and she will set you up with a tutor.
